The Challenge
Searching for a job or candidate on LinkedIn or Indeed using plain keywords gives noisy results. Boolean search (AND, OR, NOT) delivers far more precise results — but building those queries manually is complex and time-consuming.
We built SearchCraft to make Boolean search easy for everyone.
What We Built
SearchCraft is a visual Boolean search builder that runs entirely in the browser — no server, no tracking, no account required.
Visual Query Builder
Add job titles (OR-joined), skills (AND-joined), and exclusion terms (NOT) — through a simple form instead of writing complex syntax. Real-time preview of the query and platform URL as you type, with a quality score and actionable tips.
Emotional Search Mode
Adjust search intensity based on your mindset: “Urgent” for broader results, “Normal” for balance, or “Chill” for precision. Each mode automatically tunes the search parameters.
Hiring Signals
In people search mode, enable smart Boolean phrases to find engaged candidates: open to opportunities, recruiter-friendly bios, with options to exclude students and freelancers.
Multi-Platform Support
Supports 10+ job platforms: LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed (63 regional domains), Google Jobs, Bayt, GulfTalent, and more. Each platform gets an optimized search URL tailored to its capabilities.
Complete Privacy
No server, no analytics, no cookies, no data collection. Everything runs in your browser. Saved presets and history stay in localStorage only.
Tech Stack
Built with Angular 20, Ionic 8, and TypeScript. Runs as a PWA with Service Worker for offline support. Deployed on GitHub Pages.
